The HEDDphone was the first headphone to use HEDD's Air Motion Transformer (AMT) driver, a folded-diaphragm technology borrowed from the company's studio monitors rather than a conventional dynamic or planar design. The result is an extremely fast, detailed, and open presentation with excellent transient response, though the headphone is notably heavy and benefits from a powerful headphone amp to fully open up.
