About this gear
The Kotetu is Miyajima Lab's mid-tier dedicated mono moving coil cartridge, built for listeners who spin a lot of vintage mono jazz, blues, and pop pressings and want a cartridge engineered from the ground up for true mono retrieval rather than a stereo cartridge wired mono. Its hand-built coil and iron cross construction give it a warm, dense, and physical midrange with excellent groove-noise suppression on old mono records. It's a favorite among mono record collectors who want more nuance and body than a converted stereo cartridge can offer.
